City Centre Parking Strategy
This Consultation has been completed

Warrnambool City Council is in the process of reviewing its City Centre Parking Strategy.
A public survey, which opened on February 10, aims to gauge community usage habits and attitudes towards parking in the city centre.
Warrnambool Mayor Tony Herbert said that the survey results will help inform the new strategy.
“With the recent completion of the City Centre Renewal, as well as other major parking initiatives such as the new parking meters, the popularity of the parking app and the 179 new free all day spaces in the railway carpark, the time was right to review the strategy,” he said.
“Since the last strategy was completed, we have also seen an increase in the number of disabled car spaces in the city centre, all of which are now free of charge.
“Even the introduction of the pedestrian-priority intersections has an impact on parking, making it easier for people, particularly those with more limited mobility, to park and walk in the City Centre.
“So a lot has changed over the past five years, and a revised parking strategy is important to establish the goals we want to achieve with any new parking initiatives.”
The survey closes on Monday, March 2.
