Have your say on Council's Nature Strip Landscaping Policy
This Consultation has been completed

Council's Nature Strip Landscaping Policy and Guidelines provide the framework for the consistent management of nature strip landscaping throughout the municipality.
Council is reviewing these documents and is seeking community feedback on the policy and guidelines.
The policy:
- provides the objectives of Council in relation to nature strip landscaping; and,
- provides the key principles for the effective management of landscaped areas in road reserves.
The guidelines:
- provide information and certainty to the community over preferred landscape treatments; and,
- provide examples of treatments and a list of considerations for residents considering a nature strip landscaping application.
Council believes the policy and guidelines have worked well since being adopted in 2017 and is not proposing any changes to either document.
