Koroit Street - better pedestrian access
This Consultation has been completed

In the second half of 2019 Council plans to finalise the current city centre renewal phase by improving the intersection at Koroit and Kepler streets.
The work, expected to take up to 12 weeks, will result in the intersection having “pedestrian priority” zebra crossings which are consistent with the roundabouts in Liebig Street where it intersects with Lava and Koroit streets.
The new intersection will feature basalt paving sourced from Western Victoria along with a single level to improve pedestrian accessibility.
Improvements will also be made to the roundabouts at the intersections of Timor and Liebig streets and Timor and Kepler streets to make them pedestrian-priority roundabouts.
Work on these two roundabouts will be done in the first half of this year and will not be as comprehensive as the work on the Koroit and Kepler streets roundabout.
While the work is under way traffic will be managed through the intersections however there will be only a minor impact on parking.
