The 2018-2026 Road Users plan for Warrnambool has been prepared and Council is asking the community for feedback.
The draft plan is available via the link to the right.
What’s changed in the 2018-2026 draft plan?

The draft plan’s goals and objectives have been reviewed to align with the Safe Systems Approach and Towards Zero Strategy.

The priority issues included in the previous plan remain for 2018 – 2026.
These are:

Plan and Design for safe access and connection via an integrated and sustainable road system

Educate for Behaviour Change where all road users respect and value each other and by doing so create inviting and safe streets.

Safe, Integrated and Sustainable transport system which encourages social investment by promoting a sense of local identity

Build Capacity by educating about the Safe System approach through partnerships within Council, Organisations and the Community.
Council encourages residents to provide feedback about how the plan can be improved to better support the community’s health and wellbeing over the next four years.
Comments will be accepted until 5pm, Friday October 19.
