Warrnambool Building Design Awards
This Consultation has been completed

The Warrnambool Built Environment Awards recognise and reward outstanding sustainable design in building, landscape and public open spaces.
When buildings and places are designed well, they provide significant benefits to the community in terms of health, wellbeing, productivity and long-term cost savings. Every site is unique and has its own complexities. It is the task of the designer to maximise the possibilities of the site and ensure that the buildings, streetscapes and open spaces are complementary to the surrounding area.
All members of the community as well as building design professionals are encouraged to nominate a property/development for a Warrnambool Building Design Award.
Eligible projects and developments include new houses, commercial buildings and community buildings, residential subdivision, renovations and restoration of existing houses and commercial buildings, and extensions to existing dwellings and commercial buildings.
Nominations close Friday, August 28, 2015.
The property/development must:
• be located within the boundaries of the City of Warrnambool, and
• have been completed not more than five years ago, or
• have been completed, occupied, or ready for occupation by June 30, 2015.
