Warrnambool Open Space Strategy 2013 (draft)
This Consultation has been completed

Warrnambool offers a large and well-used network of parks and reserves, which contribute significantly to our coastal lifestyle and attract visitors to our City.
From the wild coastline to the popular Lake Pertobe, the residents of Warrnambool value open spaces and the benefits they provide. Ensuring the open space network is preserved and enhanced for current and future residents is an important role of Council.
To help prepare for the future, Council has developed Warrnambool’s first Open Space Strategy to ensure the City continues to have a high quality, diverse and accessible open space network that reflects community needs.
Warrnambool City Council's draft Open Space Strategy provides a framework for public open space in Warrnambool for until 2026.
Ultimately the final strategy will help set priorities and enable Council to make informed decisions about future open space provision.
We’re keen to get your feedback on the strategy. Our consultation period runs until Monday January 20, 2014.
You can do this online by downloading the fact sheet and draft strategy to the left and completing the online survey below.
Alternatively, you can obtain a printed feedback form and copy of the draft strategy from the Civic Centre, 25 Liebig Street Warrnambool.
